Pianist Robert Wells, a graduate student at the Eastman School of Music in New York, will perform on the Schimmel Grand Piano at Central United Methodist Church. The performance will be on January 9th at 6:30pm. Wells is a graduate of Wilson School and is working towards a Master's degree in music.
Central UMC is located at 265 West Cheves Street in Florence and the performance is free.

The Florence Little Theatre will be holding auditions for Legally Blonde in January! The auditions are for 16 and older. On Sunday, January 27th, auditions will be held at 3:00pm and on Wednesday, January 30th, at 7:30pm. Auditions will be held at the FLT and no experience is required. Production dates are April 26th through May 4th, 2013.

Don't miss a night of laughs with Darryl Littleton at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center on February 7th. He's written for BET's Comic View and was added to NPR's list of contributing commentators in 2006. The hilarious show begins at 7:30 pm and tickets range in price from $18 to $28.

Wednesday night at The Clay Pot Coffee Shop in downtown Florence, you can hear entertaining storytellers share family tales and folk favorites! Jessica Willis and Martha Reed Johnson will get the crowd warmed up and if you are so inclined, you can share a tale or two of your own.
Admission is free and the event begins at 7:00pm. The Clay Pot is located at 165 S. Dargan Street.
