Geocaching with a Ranger - Day 311
Have you ever been geocaching? If not, Saturday is the perfect time for you to try it out. Geocaching is kind of like a grown-up version of treasure hunting and a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather we are going to have on Saturday. If you are new to geocaching, the ranger at the Little Pee Dee State Park will work with you to make sure you know how to "find the cache." You will need to bring your own GPS unit or a smart phone with GPS capabilities. Once you get a set of coordinates, you start hunting for the cache! The geocaching session with the help of a ranger will be from 10am-12pm on Saturday at the Little Pee Dee State Park in Dillon. The cost is free and if you have any questions about geocaching, please call 843.774.8872.

365 Days Around Florence is a blog written by the Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau. At the Visitors Center - located near the Florence Civic Center - we spend a great deal of our time in letting guests know how much is happening in Florence. We decided to share (blog-style) 365 days worth of things to do. Find more things to do on our online calendar, and enjoy!
