We've waited all year and it is finally here! The SC Pecan Festival kicks off tomorrow morning with with Bike Like a Nut and Run Like a Nut! You can run the 5k, 10k,
or half marathon race or bike a metric or half metric century. The races
start at Fitness Forum on 120 East Elm Street at 8am.
After
the races, head over to the street festival which begins at 10am. This
annual event attracts over 50,000 festival-goers from around the
southeast to historic downtown Florence. Admission is free to the
festival and it features 7 stages of live entertainment, including the
Pee Dee Blues Bash. There will be over 250 food & craft vendors, 2
beer gardens, art demonstrations at the Art Trail Gallery, and the
Downtown Farmers' Market! Enjoy signature events like the Pecan Cook-off
Competition, the free Kids Fun Zone, antique tractor show, classic car
and truck show, and amusement rides!
It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day tomorrow to head downtown with your family and enjoy the biggest festival in Florence!

365 Days Around Florence is a blog
written by the Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau. At the
Visitors Center - located near the Florence Civic Center - we spend a
great deal of our time in letting guests know how much is happening in
Florence. We decided to share (blog-style) 365 days worth of things to
do. Find more things to do on our online calendar, and enjoy!
