Wild Weekends at the Lynches River County Park Environmental Discovery Center will be showcasing three animals that aren't typically found in South Carolina. Get up close and personal with a California King Snake, Western Hognose snake and a Savannah Monitor Lizard. All three reptiles are on loan from Francis Marion University and are rare in this area. The Savannah Monitor Lizard is only found in Africa! Learn all about these reptiles Saturday at 11:30am and 3pm or on Sunday at 2pm. They won't be here for long, so hurry in to see them before they're gone!

While you are there, check out the reptiles that live at the EDC like the corn snake pictured above.

365 Days Around Florence is a blog written by the Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau. At the Visitors Center - located near the Florence Civic Center - we spend a great deal of our time in letting guests know how much is happening in Florence. We decided to share (blog-style) 365 days worth of things to do. Find more things to do on our online calendar, and enjoy!
