Ike and the Cold War - Day 82

Don't miss the virtual memoir, part of the Joe Stukes History Series, 'Ike and the Cold War' today at the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library. The event is presented by Friends of the Florence County Library and Stiffel Nicolas. There are two chances for you to experience 'Ike and the Cold War' today, 3pm and 6:30pm in the Joe Stukes Meeting Room.

The program depicts Eisenhower as reminiscing over issues and policies, problems and solutions, successes and failures, social and international crises, and the changing lifestyle of the American people, tired of war but uncertain of the path ahead.

The viewings are free and open to the public. More info...
365 Days Around Florence is a blog written by the Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau. At the Visitor Center near the Florence Civic Center, we spend a great deal of our time in letting guests know how much is happening in Florence. We decided to share (blog-style) 365 days' worth of things to do. Find more things to do at http://www.visitflo.com/regional_calendar/%20... and enjoy!
