Bike with a Park Ranger - Day 254

On Saturday, you can ride through the Sandhills and the Lynches River wetlands with a Lee State Park park ranger! The ride will be 5 miles on the loop road, which is a dirt and gravel road built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s! Riders must bring their own bike, preferably with mountain bike tires, a helmet, sunscreen, water, and snacks. The riders will meet at the Environmental Education Center at 9am Saturday. Children must be at least 8 years old and those participants 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please call Lee State Park today to register for Saturday's park ride at 803.428.4988. There is no registration fee so grab your bikes and hit the trail!

365 Days Around Florence is a blog written by the Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau. At the Visitors Center - located near the Florence Civic Center - we spend a great deal of our time in letting guests know how much is happening in Florence. We decided to share (blog-style) 365 days worth of things to do. Find more things to do on our online calendar, and enjoy!
