If you are looking for a great way to honor the tragedies of September 11th, you might be interested in an opportunity to give blood at Darlington Raceway. On Tuesday, from 8am-7pm, you can give blood and help save lives. There is a crucial need for blood as our nation's blood supply is at the lowest level it has been in 15 years! Blood donors will get a behind the scenes look at the track and have a chance to drive their own vehicle for laps around the track Too Tough To Tame. Free food and beverages will be provided throughout the day courtesy of Bojangles'.
Most healthy people 17 and older, 16
with parental consent, who weigh at least 110 pounds are eligible to
donate blood and platelets. Donors who are 18 and younger must also meet
specific height and weight requirements.
