On Sunday at 3pm, a Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at the Florence Veterans Park to honor those that have served in the armed forces. The featured speaker will be Brigadier General Rex A. Spitler who is stationed at the Shaw Air Force Base and serves as the Director, Strategy and Effects, Third Army/ US Army Central. Major David Boyd, SC Army National Guard, will sing the national anthem. 36 new names will be dedicated to the Wall of Honor on Sunday, as well. Enjoy a beautiful a ceremony honoring our veterans.
In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the ground level of the Florence Civic Center. For more details, please visit our calendar.
